Abstract

The aim is to search for varieties of solutions in integers to the ternary homogeneous quadratic equation given by x2 = 22k+1 (3z2 - y2. Substitution technique jointly with factoring are employed for obtaining the integer solution patterns. Some nice connections with integer solutions are determined.
