Abstract

Paper presents development of NHPP software reliability growth model in which fault detection rate follows Sshaped curve. Various existing models considered constant non-removal fault rate function. Proposed model incorporates imperfect debugging and non-removal fault rate function which depends on time. Existing models have been compared with proposed model using statistical tools R2 and MSE. Result validates model fits to given dataset better.
